Marché aux Porcs, Rue du/Varkenvleesmarkt-Straat

   This street was called Nouveau Marché aux Porcs before 1851, a name it had carried since 1660 when the pork market that had existed for centuries along the bassin des Barques was moved here. The pork market was relocated to the boulevard de l' Abattoir in the mid-19th century.
